Oftentimes, windshield repairs may be achieved in half an hour or less. Windshield replacements will often take an hour or less; however, we highly recommend that you do not drive the vehicle for at least one hour after service is completed.

Q: Does my vehicle have to be indoors?
Inclement weather makes auto glass installations problematic without cover. If a protected area is not available, we may need to reschedule to service your vehicle.

Q: My rearview mirror is attached to my windshield. Will the technician attach it to the new windshield?
Yes, our auto glass technicians will remove your rearview mirror and attach it to your new windshield.

Q: Can you warrant that a chip or crack that may be mended will not become larger during the repair procedure?
No. In some cases, through no fault of the repair tech, the attempt to mend an auto glass can result in the chip or crack getting larger. However, we can assure that upon completion of a successful repair, the chip or crack will not crack further and that the repair will successfully pass any state vehicle inspection, or we will credit the cost of the repair toward a replacement windshield. On the very rare occasion that this occurs, we will credit the cost of the repair service either toward a new windshield or, in the event of insurance work, back to the insurance provider. In many instances, we can get you scheduled for same or next day repairs. Simply ask for an appointment or phone us. We'll get you serviced as fast as possible.

Q: How will the windshield look after repair?
Your rock chip should become substantially clearer when fixed. However, clarity is dependent upon the size, age, the amount of glass missing from the center, and the quantity of fragmented glass within the break. When looking through the windshield, optics should not suffer.

Q: Will you replace the stickers that are already on my windshield?
Whenever possible, our trained mechanics will take great care to remove any stickers or items that are attached to your old windshield and will switch them over to your new windshield to ensure that you will not lose the information.

Q: Does a chipped windshield need to be repaired or replaced?
Repair versus replacement is dependent on the size, location, and degree of the damage. In most cases, damage may be repaired if the chip is a quarter-size or less, impacts only the outer layer of glass, and does not appear directly in the driver's line of vision. But, every case is unique. Regardless, a damaged windshield should be taken a look at as soon as possible.

Q: How quickly can I wash my car after my windshield is replaced?
You can hand wash your automobile just as long as you keep high-pressure sprays of water faraway from the windshield and moldings. Water or rain on the new windshield installation isn't a problem whatsoever, in fact, the moisture actually helps the curing process of the urethane adhesive sealant. You should wait at least 24 hours before washing your vehicle in a pressure type of car or truck wash. A high-pressure automated car wash can weaken the new windshield seal and outer moldings before the urethane adhesive used in the new windshield installation has a chance to adequately cure. It's also vital to leave at least one of the windows open a minimum of 2 inches to reduce the pressurization in the vehicle when the doors are shut and when the heat or air conditioning is operated within the first day. Having a window a little bit open prevents the pressure build-up from ambient heat on a hot day and the pressure the heater or air conditioning unit builds up inside the vehicle's cabin from pushing a hole through the new uncured urethane seal, triggering an air or water leak.

Lattimer is a small village in Luzerne County. It only has a population of 554 according to the 2010 census. It previously was labeled as Lattimer Mines but now is called Lattimer. This area is known for the 'Lattimer Massacre'. This took place on September 10th in 1897. The Sheriff of the town, Sheriff Martin, gunned down coal miners who were on strike due to lack of proper compensation and reduced pay. Many workers were wounded during this strike and 19 unarmed men were killed. After the massacre, there was mob rule in the area until the Sheriff asked the National Guard to step in. In 1972, the United Labor Council put a memorial in the area to commemorate the Lattimer Massacre.
