Q: Is there any major difference between OEM and OEE auto glass? Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) auto glass is manufactured by the same manufacturer as your original glass. Original Equipment Equivalent (OEE) auto glass is fabricated to the same specifications but by a different corporation. Our customers can choose either.
Q: How long will my vehicle glass repair work or replacement take?
In many cases, windshield repairs may be achieved in half an hour or less. Windshield installations will often take 60 minutes or less; however, we suggest that you do not drive the automobile for about one hour after the replacement service is finished.
Q: My rearview mirror is attached to my windshield. Will the technician attach it to the new windshield?
Yes, our auto glass technicians will remove your rearview mirror and attach it to your new windshield.
Q: Can you guarantee that the chip or crack will be undetectable after the repair has been finalized?
No. A windshield chip or crack repair is used to prevent further damage to your windshield and to reestablish the structural soundness of the vehicle. While each occurrence of damage is one-of-a-kind, with most successful repairs, a slight spot or imperfection where the impact happened is normal. In many cases, you should expect the cosmetic appearance of the fix to be an improvement as compared to the damage before the patch.
Q: Will you vacuum my vehicle after service?
Yes, our technicians will vacuum any pieces of broken auto glass in your vehicle.
Q: How soon can you get started on repairing my car?
Many times, we can get you scheduled for the same or next day service. Simply request an appointment or give us a call. We'll get you repaired quickly as we can.
Q: Will you be able to replace the stickers that are already on my windshield?
When possible, our trained mechanics will take great care to remove any tags or items that are fastened to your old windshield and will switch them over to your new windshield to make sure that you will not lose the information.
Q: Are there any out of pocket expenditures to get my windshield fixed?
The answer depends upon your insurance coverage. For glass repairs, most auto insurance companies waive the insurance deductible so you will not have to pay anything out of pocket. In reality, many insurance companies do not even count glass repairs as a claim. For glass replacement, you may not need to pay anything out of pocket if your auto insurance plan includes full glass coverage. But, if your policy includes a deductible for glass replacement, then you will be responsible for the deductible amount and your auto insurance provider will pay any money over the deductible amount.

All SIKA Auto Glass adhesive systems have been crash-tested and go beyond rigorous Federal safety standards (FMVSS 212/208). SIKA Training assures the proper application of the entire SIKA Adhesive System, which is essential to the safe installation of the new glass in your motor vehicle.
Q: What will the auto glass shop most likely ask me when I call?
We need to know who your insurance company is and the year, make, and model of your vehicle, the type of damage you have, and when and where you need the work performed.
Q: What's the difference between glass in a windshield and other window glass?
Auto glass is designed and manufactured for optimum safety in the event of a crash. Your windshield is composed of laminated safety glass. The side and rear windows are made of tempered glass. Laminated safety glass is two pieces of glass with a layer of vinyl sandwiched between, so it will stay in one piece in a collision. Tempered glass has been treated to make it much stronger than other glass of the same thickness. If it breaks, it is designed to shatter into small pieces.

This very industrial town of Stockertown contains production giants such as Hercules Cement, Polymer Products, and Praxair. It was named after a Swiss family who had the last name of Stockers. They settled this area in the late 18th century. It was described as a very fertile area. By the 1900s, this area was referred to as 'Stockertown', and villagers in the area requested that it be considered a borough. Its status was changed in 1901 and the borough's government was formed. Today, many local residents enjoy nearby shopping and restaurants.
