Liberty AutoGlass' owner, ChuckLiberty Autoglass has been a family-owned and operated business since 2002, when Chuck and Kim Eckhart started the company. Chuck saw the need of having a competent, qualified auto glass repair shop in Lehighton, PA and decided to start filling that need with Liberty Autoglass. Chuck’s background is…. As the business grew, Chuck’s wife, Kim, came on board to help with all of the marketing, sales and office duties. Today Liberty Autoglass has grown in size to handle glass repairs in a service area that spans a geography of measuring a 75 mile radius from Lehighton, PA.

All of our technicians are factory trained by SIKA Corporation. Sika is a leader with regards to the Auto Glass Replacement (AGR) direct glazing industry. All Sika Auto Glass adhesive systems have been crash tested and exceed rigorous Federal safety standards (FMVSS 212/208). SIKA Training ensures the proper application of the entire SIKA Adhesive System, which is crucial to the safe installation of the new glass in your vehicle.

We only use SIKA products. SIKA is widely used for state-of-the-art applications internationally. We have tested other products side by side with the SIKA line, and SIKA continues to perform better. We won’t compromise on quality, safety, or professionalism~ you shouldn’t have to either.

About The Owners:

Charles (Chuck) Eckhart obtained an Associate’s Degree from LCCC in 1991 in Indoor Environmental Technology (HVAC) while working for Fuller Company in Catasauqua PA as a lab technician. The next step for Chuck was working as a Service Technician for Sears Roebuck. Finally his career path led him to auto glass which culminated in the dream that started Liberty AutoGlass.

As a team, Chuck and his wife Kim (Reigel) Eckhart worked to grow the business. Kim had graduated from Elizabethtown University in 1989 with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry. Kim was employed as a Senior Chemical Lab Technician for Air Products and Chemicals for 21 years. In 2009 Kim joined the daily operations of Liberty AutoGlass. Instrumental in the cultivating of the business operations, Kim continues to expand relations with business clients and the public. Tracking internal operational data, Kim has dramatically improved the efficiency of daily operations, marketing and customer relations.

Chuck and Kim live in Lehighton and have two daughters, Elizabeth and Brenna.
